This is about expanding your capacity to be with what is, to feel instead of rationalize, to embody instead of swallow

These practices guide you step by step in giving space to your emotions. They support you right in the middle of daily life, in those moments when you’d normally numb or avoid them.

You’ve simply never been taught how to feel them safely without being consumed or overwhelmed. That’s why you rather avoid or numb – it feels safer.

But once you know how to move with your emotions — with what’s truly present — everything changes. You stop fighting them, and start feeling present, clear and grounded on the other side.

Anger release practice with Tessa Joy Garrelts

shifts you'll notice

  • Regain control of your day. Instead of running on autopilot from your emotions, you know how to take care of yourself and reset.
  • Stay with your feelings without drowning. Overwhelm, anger, stress, even the foggy “I don’t know what I feel” — you give them space without being consumed.
  • Shift your state in the moment. You realize you can influence how you feel right now, and therefore how the rest of your day unfolds — not by suppressing, but by having tools to open up to what is so it can naturally shift.
  • See clearly beneath the confusion. By moving through your emotions, you see your truth underneath and can choose what's deeply right.
Do you know this feeling?

Throughout the meeting today, you felt anger rising in your chest. Why would they say that?

But you swallowed it. Maybe they didn’t mean it like that.

The rest of the day continues, but something feels off. There’s a knot in your chest. The smallest things upset you or make you want to burst into tears.

You come home, exhausted, just wanting to switch off. Your partner welcomes you, and suddenly you’re in an unnecessary argument about who forgot to take out the trash. Netflix feels good for a moment, but it doesn’t dissolve the knot you’re carrying. You’re tired and even though you know you’d need to feel what’s present, you don’t want to “sit with it.”

This is exactly when these practices are here to support you. All you need to do is turn them on and let yourself be guided.

Client sharing her experience with spiritual somatic coaching and embodiment practices

Hi dear, I’m Tessa
M.Sc. Psychologist and Spiritual Somatic Coach

I know what it’s like to feel so much and not have the tools to hold it all.
For years, I suppressed my emotions and kept pushing through until my body sent me a wake-up call in the form of anxiety and panic attacks.

That was the moment I began my journey of coming back home to my body: learning to feel instead of suppress, to stay with my emotions without getting lost in them, and to move through them with compassion and presence.

In my work, I weave together body-based methods, meditation, and embodiment with my background in psychology. I create a space where all parts of you are welcome — your emotions, needs, and resistance — so that your truth, deepest desires, and aligned actions can naturally become clear.

So you’ll also notice that the more you use these practices, the faster you’ll be able to drop into your body, calm your system and really let your body lead.
